Whimsical wanted to differentiate itself in a competitive market by offering a coffee experience that was both unique and memorable. They were particularly interested in a product that would stand out for its flavor profile and smooth finish, avoiding the bitterness often associated with commercial coffee.


Solution:  

Whimsical partnered with Haiku Brew Coffee, introducing the House Blend, Colombia Royal Reserve, and Rwanda Peaberry to their menu. They also began selling 12 oz bags of these coffees in-store to capitalize on the positive customer feedback.

- Flavor Profiles: Customers raved about the noticeable flavors of Haiku Brew's offerings. The smoothness and lack of bitterness were frequently highlighted in feedback, with many customers noting the enjoyment of their coffee experience.

- Repeat Business: The combination of exceptional in cup quality and the availability of retail bags led to increased repeat visits. Customers who enjoyed their drinks in the café were eager to purchase bags to enjoy at home, creating a cycle of continuous engagement.

- Sales Growth: The introduction of Haiku Brew's coffees resulted in a increase in coffee beverage sales and a new offering in retail bag sales. This dual approach solidified Whimsical's position as a go-to spot for both coffee drinks and high-quality beans.
