The country's strict regulations on coffee quality, combined with advanced processing techniques, consistently produce some of the cleanest and most precisely processed coffees in our lineup.
Our Costa Rican offerings primarily come from the Central Valley and Tarrazú regions, where high altitudes and ideal climate conditions create perfect growing conditions for the Caturra and Catuai varieties. These coffees typically exhibit bright citrus acidity, honey sweetness, and notes of stone fruit that make them excellent choices for both filter coffee and espresso applications. The volcanic soils in these regions contribute to the development of complex flavor compounds in the coffee cherries.

Our honey-processed Costa Rican coffees showcase the country's expertise with this challenging method, offering unique flavor profiles that bridge the gap between washed and natural processed coffees. Additionally, we feature micro-lots using controlled fermentation techniques that produce extraordinary results, with enhanced sweetness and unique flavor characteristics not found in traditionally processed coffees.
